Solid Foundation
Wilmington Trust is over a century old, and has a rock-solid financial foundation. Those who are afraid of smaller online banks folding overnight can take some comfort in this. It was one of the founding members of the NASDAQ, and now trades on the NYSE. It has a nation-wide network of bank branches and ATMs, all of which are accessible by WT Direct online savings account holders.
So Far So Good
The WT Direct online savings account has earned praise for its fine service, with the ability to speak with real-live human beings, and access to Wilmington Trust branches and ATMs. It may not be the best for smaller account sizes, however.
